Coonley-Purwanchal Vidyamandir Collaboration

About Our School Hello, We go to John C. Coonley Elementary School. It was named after John C. Coonley. Our school has about 1,000 students. Coonley offers grades kindergarten-8th grade. After we graduate we go to high school.  We have after school activities such as sports (soccer, football, basketball, volleyball) , cooking, drama club,and so on. 3 years ago our school got a new part of the building, the annex. The addition includes new classes, a multipurpose room and a new lunch room. Our building is 125 years old, and was opened in 1893 but built during the Columbian Expedition. In 1902 Coonley wood structure was replaced by the brick building standing today. The in-school activities include Spanish, art, dance (a new in-school activity), gym, music and drama.
